About Dishpin
Dishpin puts YouTube food reviews from the UK and Ireland on a map, so you can find what's been reviewed near you and watch the video before you go.
Every pin is a chippy, takeaway, café or restaurant that one of the channels below has reviewed. Tap a pin to see the review, its date and a link to find the place on Google Maps. You can search by town, postcode or dish, or filter by channel and food type.
The channels
All of the reviews come from these three YouTube channels. The videos belong to their creators and play on YouTube. If you enjoy them, subscribe.
Dishpin is an independent project. It isn't run by or connected to these channels, YouTube, or any of the places on the map. Some places have been reviewed by more than one channel, so the place counts add up to more than the total.
How the pins are placed
- Each review's venue and town come from the video's title and description.
- The venue is then matched to its address, using OpenStreetMap and the business's own website where it has one.
- When the exact address couldn't be found, the pin sits at the town centre and is marked area. 323 places are shown this way.
- Places that couldn't be found on Google Maps, or that are outside the UK and Ireland, are left out.
Businesses close, move and change hands, so check before you travel. Found a pin in the wrong place? Use the Find on Google Maps link in its pop-up to check the current address.

Visitor stats
Dishpin counts visits with GoatCounter, which doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and doesn't keep your IP address. It records which pages are opened and which videos are watched from the map, so we know what people find useful.
Dishpin doesn't collect visitor statistics.
